Sanibel - Cheeburger Cheeburger and A Day In the Sun

We ate at Cheeburger Cheeburger Tuesday night...everyone was there

Starting on the left front is April, (sil) Ali (niece), Brittney (granddaughter), Brett (just his hair his showing- grandson), Dylan Son.  On the right front is Cool Pa, Gator Moma, Ian (son), Allison (DIL to be), and Moose (brother)

Some of us were old enough to remember this

Phinn needed a little beverage

and food

Son Ian took the ONE POUND burger challenge and ate it in 5 or 6 minutes.  So he got to take his picture with the big burger ...

And hang that picture on the wall.  Since Ian is just shy of 6'2 he was able to hang it up high.  I thought it was cool to note his engagement this way.  

Grand-daughter Brittney got to spend a couple of hours at CROW on Wednesday morning

CROW is a Clinic for the Rehabilitation of Wildlife

Since GD Brittney is studying zoology with focus on marine biology I called the center and see if they could give her an up close look at what they do.  They were so kind and allowed her to attend a volunteer orientation that included time in the animal hospital.  Brittney said she loved it.  

Everyone else just settled in for a LONG day with our feet in the sand  (Brittney joined us after her time at CROW)

Getting started they were needing some one to stabilize the board while they got up

Soon they were all up and paddle boarding with ease
